Our company...
Mortensen Engineering, Inc. (MEI) is a
full-service consulting
geotechnical engineering and geology firm specializing in geotechnical
engineering services, construction materials testing, hydrogeological studies,
sinkhole
investigation, and groundwater
evaluation.
Our history...
MEI has
been in business in Tampa, Florida since July 1988.
As geotechnical, hydrogeologic and construction materials testing
consultants, our
key professionals
and senior technicians are very familiar with the subsurface soil and
groundwater conditions throughout Florida, having performed a significant number
of geotechnical, hydrogeologic and construction materials testing
projects
(7,000 +/-) in the state over the past 20 years.
Our people...
MEI has a staff of 22 people, including three licensed
professional engineers (Florida PE's), one professional geologist (PG), two Florida-licensed
water well contractors, and staff geologists
and scientists. Our CMT field technicians are ACI, nuclear
gauge, FDOT LBR and
asphalt-certified.
Our key field personnel are safety-trained.
